It is our pleasure to announce the appointment of Corey D. Petersen, AIA, RRO, to Assistant Vice President of the Northwest region, effective December 2012. Mr. Petersen has performed a comprehensive range of services in his six years at Marx Okubo, and he has spearheaded the firm’s involvement in exterior envelope design and rehabilitation services in the Northwest. In addition to being a licensed architect in the State of Washington, Mr. Petersen is a Registered Roof Observer (RRO), a designation awarded by RCI, Inc. to those demonstrating advanced knowledge as a roof quality assurance observer. Mr. Petersen recently shared this knowledge in a presentation to Marx Okubo’s technical staff at a company-wide meeting held in Denver. Mr. Petersen is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Seattle Building Envelope Council (SeaBEC).
The Seattle office of Marx Okubo has experienced steady growth, positioning us at the forefront of in our industry in the Northwest region. This expansion recently necessitated a move into a larger office space. Mr. Petersen’s leadership and expertise have contributed to this growth, and he is sure to provide even greater benefit to the company in his new role.
