Marx Okubo is pleased to announce a number of additions to our sustainability staff and expertise. Notably, Dan Healey, P.E., of the Irvine office has received the designation of Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Mr. Healey joins fellow southern Californian Jon R. Haviland, P.E., and Joseph A. Milam, P.E., of the Atlanta office in achieving this certification. The achievement of CEM status recognizes their advanced level of experience and expertise in the field of energy management across a broad range of topics.
In addition, Marx Okubo’s Sustainability Group now boasts over 30 individuals throughout the country who have obtaining LEED Accredited Professional (AP) or Green Associate (GA) credentials from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Among these, a total of ten LEED APs have now qualified for the Building Design and Construction (BD+C) specialty.
